I don't know if you celebrate November 5th anywhere else ; there seems to be a massive gap in my education here. To be honest I don't know why we celebrate November 5th in the UK any more.
But tonight Cardiff was truly spectacular.; sometimes I remember why I love living in this insane country so much !

From my recollection of British history we celebrate Guy Fawkes 'failure to blow up the Houses Of Parliament.
I don't think this is something to celebrate !

You are right M...and I never understood the reason either although I was taught that initially the burning of the straw guy dolls represented the Pope and not Guy Fawkes.
But I also know that Nov 5th is much like our Halloween in that the old tradition was that kids walked the streets and begged people for a 'penny for the guy' instead of the candy American kids get.
But I also heard it is custom to eat "Potato Hash". What is Potato Hash?

I think 2-2 was probably a fair result. I'll take a point away from Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool every time.
Having said that, when Ronaldo scored I really thought we'd got the little buggers!
Shame we couldn't hang on.
But I'm happy. All looks good in the League and in Europe and the forward line is starting to gel nicely.
So - yeh. Satisfied for now.
