Close To The Edge - And Back

There is lambswool under my naked feet.
The wool is soft and warm,
-gives off some kind of heat.
A salamander scurries into flame to be destroyed.
Imaginary creatures are trapped in birth on celluloid.
The fleas cling to the golden fleece,
Hoping they'll find peace.
Each thought and gesture are caught in celluloid.
There's no hiding in my memory.
There's no room to void.

The crawlers cover the floor in the red ochre corridor.
For my second sight of people, they've more lifeblood than before.
They're moving. They're moving in time to a heavy wooden door,
Where the needle's eye is winking, closing in on the poor.
The carpet crawlers heed their callers:
"We've got to get in to get out
We've got to get in to get out."

Stress people : where have I been for three weeks ? " I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues")

That is a hotel room.

And you are looking skinny. You need to be fed.

Why are you in a hotel room hungry?

And it's a lovely picture. Idyllic.

It's hotel room in North Wales. I had to go to a meeting there. I hated it.

And I'm not skinny thanks ! It's lack of sleep not lack of food that's been getting to me.

I think it's ok now.

Smooches for caring.

Wondered where you were. It looked more like a hospital room to me.

So you return and with Genesis.....interesting that you chose that song. You have been run through the wringer and are totally wiped out, right?

Glad to see you back!

WAS totally wiped out ; I seem to have things in perspective again now but that was a nasty few weeks.

I've lived through stress before and I probably will do again.

It hurts (in a totally mind-numbing way). I'm sure you've been there too.

And - for the record young Eva - I am exactly 6ft tall and weigh 178 lbs which is about 2 lbs above the ideal weight for a man of my height and age.

Skinny ? No way.

Yes get to that point more often now as I age and now with the frustration with the pain.... and when it happens I just crawl into bed and pull the covers over me, turn on a CD, and drift off.
